Description
Lavender is a familiar fragrance known to us all. Its wonderful lilac and purple flowers with aromatic silver grey-green leaves give much pleasure during flowering. The evergreen leaves can be pruned back after flowering to flower again the following year. In pots, gardens or as a hedge, lavender is a must for all gardeners. It prefers sun, fertile well-drained soil and is fully hardy except in the most extreme of weather. Loved by bees and other beneficial insects. Lavender is well known for its wonderful oil which has many health promoting qualities as well as for its scent alone.
