Cycas are popular as a house plant in colder climates. With an attractive shape with slightly glossy feathered leaves. Easy to grow in a bright light room in well drained aeratted soil. Cycas like a moist soil so water once the soil starts drying at the top of the pot. Do not overwater, it can cause the roots to rot. Reduce watering during winter months. An occasional feed of diluted liquid fertilizer is helpful.
