The blushing bride flowering cherry tree is a deciduous round topped tree grown mainly for its beautiful flowers and glowing autumn colour of red and orange. Cherries are fully hardy and need full sunshine. They will grow in all but waterlogged soil. A low maintenance tree, cherries need very little pruning, mainly to cut out any diseased or dead wood. Prune in mid-summer if silver leaf is a problem. They do benefit from a good weed, mulch and compost in spring. A small tree and suitable for most gardens.
Symbolism: The Cherry tree has long been used to attract love. A feminine tree, its planet is Venus and its Power is Love.
The tree is watered before being carefully packed by one of our experienced staff on site. It comes in a cardboard box lined with straw. (We try to use as much recycling material as possible) The box is addressed to the customer or a specified name and address and sent out overnight delivery to arrive on requested dates.

When the tree arrived last year, I immediately thought it was dead. Having planted and cared for it anyway, leaves started to grow….but only at the base of the tree. The tree, 1m tall is dead from about 40cm high with foliage only at the base.
