Quince Trees

Quince plants produce an adaptable fruit, similar to a pear, that is used mostly for culinary purposes – much in the same way you would use cooking apples. The quince originally comes from south-west Asia but has been grown in England and France since the 13th century. Quince trees favour warmer climates, but they can be grown very successfully in milder areas of the UK, but the best results come when planted in sheltered spots in full view of the warm sun.
