Garden Design
With time being in short supply Trees Direct are offering a new service to our customers. We will design your garden online. Save time, save petrol, save the environment and work towards a stress free life.
There are two options for you to choose from.
Simple Design £250.00
Based on the information available to us. This would include the varieties of trees, shrubs and plants in the style and colour scheme you are interested in. Once you have received your design and advice on planting you can then order the trees and plants you would like and they can be delivered on a date to suit you.
Detailed Professional Design £550.00
Based on the information available to us. This covers all of the above and will also include telephone discussions to talk through any ideas and thoughts. Your design will be drawn up by our designer. This is a comprehensive and detailed drawing.
Our Kew qualified designer will design your garden. Register on Line, then all we need is the following:
GARDEN ASPECT
- Where does it the garden face, i.e. South, North, West, East.
- Is it Sunny, Shady, Both.
- Windy, Secluded, areas of both.
- Views, eg. do you want your eye drawn to a particular aspect of your garden.
- Do you need privacy, do you need to block a view.
GARDEN SIZE
- The approximate size and shape of your garden.
- This can be done by measuring with a tape measure, or walking it and counting your steps.
- If it is a very large garden you probably know the approximate size.
- A rough drawing of the shape would be helpful. Eg rectangle, square, kidney. Any curves, nooks and crannies are all useful guide lines.
PARTICULAR REQUIREMENTS
- A terrace or private spot. Do you have a pond or lake and need water planting.
- For children, places for them to play.
- Vegetable garden. Knot garden. Patio. Any other ideas you might like to incorporate into the design.
TASTE & IDEAS
- Type of garden. Formal, Cottage, Minalism, No work garden.
- What type of house do you have. Old classic, modern, cottage, bungalow, house in town, detached, terraced, in a 'Close'.
HELPFUL HINTS.
- A photograph of the house and garden.
- Soil type if possible, colour scheme,time schedule.
Once we have an idea of the type of garden you need we can begin to put something together for you.
